Have Yourself an Alternative Christmas: An Indie/Alt Christmas Playlist

If you’ve seen my most recent blog post, you’ll have seen my Pop-Punk playlist. Of course, pop-punk isn’t for everyone, so if you’re more of an indie fan, then this is the one for you.

Personally, I’m a fan of both, so I’ve got all of these songs from both today’s and yesterday’s post (and more!) compiled into a Spotify playlist which you can find here

So if you ever get bored of Mariah and would prefer to listen to a bit Wolf Alice then this is the blog post for you!

1. Is This Chritsmas? – The Wombats

2. Someone to Spend Christmas With – The Spook School

3. Alone on Christmas Day – Phoenix

4. Last Christmas – Pale Waves

5. Santa Baby – Wolf Alice

6. Wonderful Christmastime – Blossoms

7. Carol of the Bells – The Big Moon

8. You Bring the Snow – The Crookes

9. Winter Song – Sam Fender

10. Fairytale of New York – BANNERS

11. Walking in the Air – The Maccabees

12. Merry Christmas Everyone – Vistas

BONUS because it’s not available on Spotify, but it would be a crime to not include it on the playlist:

Christmas Joy – Sam Halliday (From Two Door Cinema Club)

Soooo, there we go! A whole 12 songs to play on repeat throughout the Christmas period, especially if you’re fed up with the same old tunes that get over-played every year.

Merry Christmas!
